I'm Aliorpse, a student majoring in Computer Science at UNM.
Kotlin is the language I know best, and I love its concise design. But its creators don't seem determined to free it from the JVM, so I'm exploring Rust. Its zero-cost abstractions convinced me that a language needn't trade expressiveness for performance — and that writing systems code can be genuinely enjoyable. More broadly, I've long felt that a language being "positioned" is a failure of design.
