Context

Project.view_style is a strict Literal["list", "board", "calendar"], so loading a project with any other style raises ParseError and fails a whole page of get_projects(). Every release since 3.0.0 has this. Todoist is preparing a first-class Table layout; the API keeps sending list to existing clients, but the SDK shouldn't break on a new style.

What was changed

  • Project.view_style is read as a string and keeps unknown values. ViewStyle and request validation are unchanged.
  • A test loads a project with view_style: "table"; it fails with the ParseError before this change.

Notes

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

`Project.view_style` was a strict `Literal["list", "board", "calendar"]`, so a
project with any other style, like a newly added layout, failed to load, and
with it the whole page of projects. It's now read as a string.
