Keep the existing gameplay and save identities, use native equipment and recipe APIs, and accept vanilla copper equivalents. Preserve older saved world data and defer OreSpawn host tags until they are ready.

This brings the finished Base Metals port to Minecraft 1.21.11 and Forge 61.
I've completed the manual test and am ready to release it as 3.1.1.121111.
The existing gameplay carries over, including raw metals, Kiri's ore overlays,
filled buckets and High/Low Fantasy. New copper recipes use vanilla's matching
items, while the old Base Metals items remain valid in saves and ingredients.
The port updates equipment, recipes, rendering, networking and configuration
screens for the newer APIs. Required Mixins replace the old JavaScript hooks.
The save protections remain in place, and older Forge world-capability data is
read without losing its contents. A small compatibility fix also lets the
published OreSpawn release wait for ore-host tags to become available.
Automated checks pass: 109 unit tests, all 46 GameTests, packaged clients and
servers on Forge 61.1.0 and 61.2.4, both content modes and repeated connections.
Thirteen upgrade profiles pass, including reloads and later-opened chunks;
modern-world checks cover stale backups, LZ4 and external chunks. Two clean
builds produce identical release jars. Agent files and generated test output
are excluded.
