Summary

Move the driver and feature suites under e2e/suites so behavioral tests share one location and tests retains provisioning and artifact construction. This is a mechanical relocation with unchanged test implementations.

Stacked on #4537 (codex/4119-shared-rust-support). Followed by the Podman shared-gateway tests in #4464.

Changes

• Move the driver and feature suite workspaces from tests/suites to e2e/suites.
• Update relative dependencies, artifact inputs, prepared-target wrappers, and documentation.
• Preserve the existing Ansible-based Podman profile sequence; its Rust fixture migration follows separately.

Testing

• mise run pre-commit passed for this signed-off commit.
• Driver and feature workspaces passed locked all-target compilation at their new locations.
• The resulting tree is identical to the former test(conformance): move scenario files into Cargo tests #4120 head f70301545.

Live gateway tests were not rerun during this split.

The combined stack at 7e72adc6c passed nix develop --command mise run --jobs 1 ci on 2026-10-14. This covers the configured repository lint, compile/type checks, and unit suites; live gateway/tmachine execution was not repeated during this split.

main and #5137 keep the driver and feature suites under tests/suites, not e2e/suites.

Closing as superseded. The conformance suite now lives at tests/suites/conformance on testkit (#4774), and #5137 migrates the features and drivers suites and deletes crates/openshell-conformance, so this stack's layout and runner changes no longer apply.

The one idea worth keeping, cleanup for resources testkit does not track (with a deliberate-panic test), is being discussed in #5137 (comment).
