QFlight is a live production post quantum flight operation record tool for aviation on the Quantova network. It proves the plan, clearance, departure, arrival and close of a flight operation, and it lets any third party confirm that history without trusting the party that created it.
QFlight proves records without disclosing them. Flight details and operator data stay private on the systems of the party that holds them. Only a salted cryptographic commitment is written to the chain, and no commercial detail is ever published.
Each record is a signed envelope of one of five types.
- plan, an operator files a flight plan with the flight number, aircraft, flight rules, origin, destination and scheduled off block time.
- clearance, an air navigation authority clears the filed plan on a named route.
- departure, the commander records the departure from the departure aerodrome.
- arrival, the commander records the arrival at the arrival aerodrome.
- close, the operator closes the flight record with its outcome.
Every record is signed with ML-DSA-65 under FIPS 204 by the party whose role it names, and each later record links to the one before it so the whole life of a flight forms a chain.
A record on its own carries only the claim of its signer. Anchoring a record on the Quantova network through Qstamp adds a post quantum evidence anchor that fixes the latest moment the record existed, provable against the record and the signer by anyone, without claiming a regulated timestamp status that Quantova Inc does not hold.
npm install @quantovainc/qflight
const qflight = require('@quantovainc/qflight');
const operator = qflight.generateKey();
const plan = qflight.plan({
key: operator,
flightNumber: 'QTV123',
aircraft: 'G-QTVA',
rules: 'ifr',
origin: 'EGLL',
destination: 'EHAM',
scheduledOffAt: '2026-11-01T07:30:00.000Z',
operatorLabel: 'Quantova Air',
});
const anchored = await qflight.anchor(plan, { seed, index: 0, network: 'testnet' });
const result = await qflight.verify(anchored[0], { type: 'plan', network: 'testnet' });- It does not show that the stated facts are true. It shows only that the signer stated them and that the statement existed unchanged at a point in time.
- It does not identify a natural or legal person. The signer is a chain address, and linking an address to an operator, authority or commander is a separate attestation.
- The labels are text written by the signer, they are not a verified identity.
