Vanilla honey bottles weren't used by Cooking at all. This makes them a sweetener and adds honey-glazed roasts.

Honey as a sweetener

Honey-glazed roasts

  • Right-click the roast on a fire pit or a meat hook while holding honey. The roast gets the honey_glazed track ("Honey-Glazed": food ×1.10, nutrition ×1.05), one honey is used and its bottle comes back. You can glaze a roast raw or while it cooks. It's refused when there's no roast, for a sausage chain, when the roast is already glazed, or when it's rotten. Config: new glazes.yml (which roasts, and each glaze's item and track), handled by GlazeHandler.
  • Carving passes the glaze on to every cut (CarvableRoastUtils.copyInheritedTracks copies the glazes' tracks).
  • Once cooked, a glazed roast has its own glossy amber look: models.yml red_meat_roast / poultry_roast glazed_<stage> with tags [cooked, honey_glazed]. FoodModel.getModelByStageAndTag now picks a carve-stage state only when the food also has that state's other tags. No existing staged state has more than one tag, so nothing else changes.
  • ItemsAdder: contents/glazed_roasts.yml adds 14 items, plus the *_roast_glazed.png textures and *_roast_glazed_<n>.json models (the cooked models re-textured).

Clash check (Main and Dev configs, read-only)

  • BreweryX has six recipes that use Honey_Bottle. Converted honey has no tags, so BrewingIngredientResolver maps it back to v.honey_bottle and those recipes still work. Converted sugar works the same way.
  • MarketBlock (honey: v.HONEY_BOTTLE), Research aspects (v.honey_bottle) and CompanionPets (HONEY_BOTTLE medicine) match by material path. TLibs only refuses v. matches for MMOItems/ItemsAdder items, and converted honey keeps the vanilla HONEY_BOTTLE material, so they still match.
  • Drinking: honey stays edible. Vanilla still cures poison and returns the bottle, and Cooking adds 6 food / 2 nutrition.
  • TFMCCore blocked-crafts already blocks HONEY_BOTTLE crafting. DrinkBuilder is only a catalog. No MMOItems recipe uses honey bottles.
  • Beehive bottling fills the bottle in hand, not by pickup, so that honey stays vanilla until it's dropped or put into a station (stations convert on insertion).

Tests: GlazeCoverageTest and FoodReturnsTest are new. The mixing bowl, saucepan, popcorn, FoodModel and rice-pudding tests got honey cases. mvn -o clean verify: 1506 tests pass (after merging main with #118, #120 and #122), line coverage 100%.

…meat hook

Honey bottles picked up become Cooking honey (a sweetener): dough, sauces,
catsup and a new popcorn topping take it and give back the empty bottle
(types.yml returns). Right-clicking the roast on a fire pit or meat hook
with honey makes it Honey-Glazed (glazes.yml), with a glazed look once
cooked; carving passes the glaze on to every cut.

returns now means what a food comes in, given back once it's drunk (hot
chocolate's cup, #122) or used up in a station (honey's bottle).
