Publish operator-accepted RC1 as the new public stable release

This is a promotion of the exact binary payload already tested by the operator, not a new Studio, firmware, codec or PTP implementation. Source provenance is pinned to PR #359 head ab646b58da601569c956f2d19ff45100129f19a0 and its accepted RC1 release.

Stable packaging and safe download

  • Download immutable RC1 release assets, verify pinned SHA-256 against GitHub release asset registry, exact firmware source SHA, two independent ESP32-P4 silicon images and catalog.
  • Reuse byte-identical native Studio EXE, Linux AppImage and both ESP32-P4 firmware images.
  • Compile the stable-channel Inno installer from the existing tested Studio payload without ARSTACK_PREVIEW; smoke-test installation, stable AppId, unchanged executable hash, bundled firmware contract, lifecycle and uninstall on a fresh Windows runner.
  • Publish ARStack-Studio-win-x64-setup.zip (exactly one Setup EXE) as preferred download. Keep raw Setup EXE and portable ZIP available. This improves browser handling but does not defeat SmartScreen.
  • Main product website resolves the latest stable release's Setup ZIP first, falls back to Setup EXE for older releases, and avoids incorrectly auto-selecting the v3.x BIN on dual-firmware releases.
  • Package and publish Linux AppImage, separate pre-v3/v3.x firmware, catalog/manifest, release-provenance, SHA256SUMS and changelog.

Publication safety

  • One Windows package/promotion job is triggered only after merge by docs/releases/PROCESSBUS_DUAL_STABLE_LAUNCH.md. No new Qt/ESP-IDF compilation. Existing RC1/M3.H.3 releases and their tags/assets are immutable.
  • Publication creates a new stable non-prerelease latest tag, processbus-sim-dual-stable-20261105, after all runtime/zip checks pass. Fail if it already exists.
  • ARStack61850 remains an IEC 61850 Process Bus SCL/4I4V virtual MU and GPS-like PTP simulator as committed in AGENTS.md; the release is based on the actual user-accepted RC1 test, without inventing universal hardware field evidence.

Please do not merge until checks validate documentation, packaging script, and workflow; merging starts the real release publication.
