Summary

• Bump the VS Code extension version from 2.4.3 to 2.4.4.
• Synchronize the root package-lock.json version fields and README version badge.
• Record the five issue fixes under version 2.4.4 in CHANGELOG.md, not in the README release highlights.
• Keep general README documentation for debug status/output tools, opt-in capture configuration and privacy limits, and explicit unconfirmed restart results.
• Based on main after the merges of Fix selected-frame metadata in debug status #184, Add opt-in session-scoped logpoint output retrieval #185, Track successful DAP resume responses without continued events #186, Install debug-live on activation in fresh remote hosts #187, and Return explicit unconfirmed restart result for missing adapter replies #188.
• No dependency, runtime, or standalone CLI version changes.

Validation

• npm run package passed (TypeScript checks and production bundles).
• npm run lint passed.
• Verified package.json and both root package-lock.json version fields are 2.4.4.
• Verified the README version badge and versioned changelog entry agree with the extension manifest; release notes are no longer in the README.
• Tool options and output limits were checked against implementation.
• git diff --check passed. Subsequent changes are documentation-only.
