• compose.md (new): nspawn compose, a project as an example with its real output, how services become machines, networks, volumes and secrets, depends_on, builds and the names of built images, the commands, and a pointer to docs/COMPOSE.md for every attribute.
• docker-api.md (new): the Docker API a machine gets when it mounts docker's socket (what it serves, the one write it takes, who can connect, one socket per machine, its limits), caddy-docker-proxy as the example, and auto-update with its rollback, skips and timer.
• building.md: Dockerfile builds with nspawn's builder (what it reads, the context and its ignore file, the sandbox, the cache, the flags, the differences from docker build); mkosi runs in the service, with the output and workspace directories it is given.
• machines.md: s6-overlay images as PID 1 and --init, GPUs and CDI devices, ps --filter/--format, inspect -f, wait and port, exec as the machine's user, kill and restart policies, healthcheck keys of inspect, --dns-search in booted machines, an events example taken from a 2.0.0 run.
• networking.md: --ip, network connect and disconnect, docker's sysctls in an app's namespace, the namespace path before systemd 259; the examples create front before back, give postgres its password and publish nginx's port behind gluetun.
• images.md, overview.md, getting-started.md, faq.md, configuration.md, _index.md: the lookup order of local images, machine name rules, the hub images' root password, the root mounted at start, system prune and the build cache, the units that run between commands, what --config reaches, Linux 6.5 for overlay.
• reference.md: every new command and flag, value names as --help prints them, network create without -l, --ip without none, the hidden commands, what daemon --install writes, the completion targets.
• contribution-guidelines.md moves after the FAQ in the menu; hugo.yaml: documented version 2.0.0.
