The new release workflow:

  1. It checks that the version is in package.json and has a section in CHANGELOG.md.
  2. It builds macOS (universal), Windows (x64) and Linux (x64 and arm64).
  3. It runs the smoke test on each build.
  4. It writes a draft release with the installers, SHA256SUMS.txt and the changelog section.

Publishing the draft writes the tag, as on Android. dry_run builds only.

Signing:

  • macOS: the build is signed ad hoc, so macOS asks the user to confirm the first start. With the APPLE_* secrets listed in the README, it is signed with Developer ID and notarized.
  • Windows: not signed yet, so SmartScreen warns.

This PR also changes the Unreleased heading of the changelog to 0.1.0.

The release workflow builds macOS (universal), Windows (x64) and Linux (x64
and arm64), runs the smoke test on each build, and writes a draft GitHub
release with the installers and the changelog section. Publishing the draft
writes the tag.

The macOS build is signed ad hoc, or with Developer ID and notarized if the
APPLE_* secrets exist.
