black < 26.10.1 is affected by the advisory behind codeplain's Dependabot alert #66; Dependabot hasn't raised it here. Dev-only (the dev extra).

Supersedes #10, whose 26.10.0 is still affected — Dependabot should close it once this merges. black . --check under 26.10.1 leaves every file unchanged.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Chores
    • Updated the Black development tool version.

Same advisory as Dependabot alert #66 on codeplain (black < 26.10.1), which Dependabot has not raised here. Supersedes #10 (26.10.0 is still affected). No formatting changes under 26.10.1.
