Summary

• Replace Fumadocs with a Sim-owned Next.js docs application and one shared component library based on the Paper designs. Add the responsive shell, reading/reference components, interaction states, and component gallery.
• Preserve 495 authored documents, 308 API operations, existing URLs/anchors, original screenshots, workflow fixtures, and product-owned generators. One catalog powers HTML, Markdown, navigation, search, metadata, JSON discovery, and read-only MCP.
• Move search parsing into the build and split workflow dependencies from reading pages. Measured introduction JavaScript drops from 629 KB to 236 KB compressed; the same PostgreSQL fixture's first search call drops from 4,012 ms to 15 ms, excluding module startup.

• Root lint, all 26 type-check tasks, all 61 audits, root script/workspace tests, and the staging-relative block-registry check pass. Full application suite: 38,745 tests passed under Node 24.
• Production build and migration-preservation checks pass. Real HTTP corpus: 2,995 checks. Browser: 40 checks. HTTP/MCP: 15 checks. Negotiation: 7 checks. Header merger: 16 checks. Isolated PostgreSQL: 7 checks.
• Verification results, commands, screenshots, and limitations, architecture and authoring, and machine interfaces.
• Live paid embedding generation and production index publication were not run. Workflow node text is server rendered; the shared canvas renderer completes measurement and painting during hydration.

Rollback

Revert the replacement commit, including docs dependency and workflow changes. No database migration or product-data rollback is required. This stays in draft; no production deployment is part of this PR.
