This is the first big step towards reworking the on-cluster manifest mechanism.
With this change, roxie teardown does not use the on-cluster manifest anymore.
🎁 Also implements some parallelization for potential teardown speedup.
Summary by CodeRabbit
Bug Fixes
Teardown now locates Central and SecuredCluster installations across their deployed namespaces, so cleanup can proceed even when the cluster manifest is unavailable.
Add-on cleanup now finds installed releases by namespace and removes them before Central resources. If no Central installation is found, add-on cleanup can still be attempted.
Missing resources and resources owned by another component are skipped, while other cleanup errors are reported.

Walkthrough
Teardown now discovers Central and SecuredCluster namespaces from cluster resources, removes matching Helm add-on releases, and deletes resources in the discovered namespaces. Teardown configuration no longer loads the cluster manifest.

Summary
Namespace discovery and resource deletion internal/k8s/resource.go, internal/deployer/deployer.go, go.mod
The Kubernetes helpers discover one or more namespaces for a named custom resource. Resource deletion uses an explicit namespace, runs special-resource deletion concurrently, and returns owner-check and deletion errors.
Central and add-on teardown cmd/teardown.go, internal/deployer/addons.go, internal/deployer/deployer.go
Central teardown discovers its namespace, uninstalls matching Helm releases, and deletes Central resources. Add-on-only teardown uses the discovered namespace or falls back to the configured namespace. The command initializes default deployer configuration without loading the cluster manifest.
SecuredCluster teardown discovers all matching namespaces and processes them concurrently. The Both and All dispatch path uses the updated Central teardown flow.

Provide a namespace for CLI retries before using the configured fallback.
deployer.New() leaves d.config empty, and the teardown CLI does not call SetConfig. Therefore d.config.Central.Namespace and d.config.SecuredCluster.Namespace cannot restore cleanup on a CLI rerun. Do not initialize the CLI with DefaultConfig; that would assume acs-central and acs-sensor.
A partial Central teardown can delete the CR first and then fail while deleting special resources. The next CLI run finds no CR and skips deleteCentralResources. Apply the configured-namespace fallback for callers that set Config, but let the CLI recover the actual namespace from the existing manifest as a retry-only fallback, or add equivalent all-namespace discovery for the managed leftover resources.

In cmd/teardown.go, load the manifest before d.Teardown and call d.SetConfig only when the manifest supplies a namespace. Do not replace a missing manifest with DefaultConfig().

@mclasmeier I rechecked commit 5c8fc20. My earlier statement that the teardown CLI does not call SetConfig was incorrect. cmd/teardown.go, Line 73, calls d.SetConfig(deploySettings).
The retry-cleanup issue remains:
In internal/deployer/deployer.go, Line 519–521, a missing Central CR sends execution to add-on teardown. This skips deleteCentralResources, even when a configured namespace exists.
At Line 583–585, missing SecuredCluster CRs cause teardown to return without cleaning up remaining special resources.
If CR deletion succeeds but a later resource deletion fails, the next teardown run cannot retry that resource deletion.
Use a verified namespace fallback or discover the managed leftover resources without the CR. Restoring manifest dependence is not required. Verify recovery by interrupting teardown after CR deletion, then rerunning teardown in a non-default namespace.
This was a source inspection. I did not run cluster tests.

Do not classify operational kubectl failures as an unregistered CR type.
DiscoverCRNamespaces converts any failed kubectl get whose stderr contains the server doesn't have a resource type into (nil, nil). This message can also result from kubeconfig, authentication, or API-server failures. teardownSecuredCluster then returns nil without cleanup. The combined teardown path logs component errors and returns nil, so it can report success after skipping cleanup.
Only return (nil, nil) after a successful API-resource discovery confirms that the CR type is absent. Propagate failures that prevent resource discovery.

Propagate teardown errors to the CLI.
When teardownSecuredCluster, teardownCentralWithAddOns, or teardownOperator returns an error, this branch logs the error and then returns nil. The CLI then deletes the manifest resources and reports Teardown complete! even though teardown failed.
Collect the errors and return errors.Join(...) after all cleanup completes. This preserves the current ordering and remains separate from inner errgroup cancellation.

Propagate errors from the parallel teardown tasks.
When teardownDiscoveredAddOns returns a Helm uninstall error, teardownCentralWithAddOns returns that error to the Central goroutine. The goroutine only logs it. Teardown then returns nil, so the ordinary roxie teardown command reports success and continues post-teardown cleanup.

Teardown no longer loads the on-cluster roxie manifest or assembles a
deploy config. Instead, it discovers Central and SecuredCluster CRs
directly from the cluster using `kubectl get <type> -A`, and add-on
teardown discovers Helm releases by prefix.
