Summary

Fixes #178.

• Add get_debug_output in both hosts, with required session ID and explicit prefix/category filtering, bounded results, session-bound incremental cursors, and eviction reporting.
• Capture is off by default: enable the machine-scoped debugmcp.captureDebugOutput setting in VS Code, or serve --capture-output in the standalone CLI. MCP cannot enable capture.
• Retain at most 8 sessions, 1000 events/256 KiB per session, with an 8 KiB event-size cap. Redact credential patterns and sensitive assignments before retention. No output persistence or logging; telemetry and arbitrary DAP metadata are not captured.
• History survives session termination within these bounds; disposal or changing the VS Code setting clears it. Redaction is heuristic and event-local, not a disclosure guarantee.
• Preserve multi-window routing and expose sessionId in active status responses.

Validation

• npm run compile, npm run lint, npm run bundle: passed.
• 141 focused extension-host tests passed, including real CLI DAP output, VS Code tracker integration, MCP tool calls, routing, disabled capture, cursor validation, limits, eviction, and redaction.
• The first run hit the default 2-second timeout in an existing CLI adapter-lifecycle test; the focused suites passed with --timeout 10000.
• git diff --check: passed.
